In Runescape, can men and women who “Double Income” get banned?
I was studying this scam for a while and… there seems to be no context against the rules. The player willing gives the money to the doubler. The doubler doesn’t take anything out or add anything, it’s just a trade. I reported doublers multiples times yet I still see them on my world, the same ones!
It says here under Double Money scam, that “it is NOT a reportable offence without being scammed of money, even if the scammer admits that it will be a two-window trade. Scamming is the act of taking someones gold/account/items. At this point, they have NOT yet taken your money”

I got scammed once with 10k, then I never did it again… I’m just curious cause my friend quit RS cause they scammed him 10mil. I know he’s a dumb ass but what the hell…

no offense, but its not bannable because you were stupid enough to just hand him your money. He didnt hack your account or force you to give it to him, you just did. why should jagex ban people for taking advantage of others like that? personally, i think its hilarious. They do it successfully a few times to make people there think they legit, then steal the first large amount that exceeds what theve done so far.

Actually that falls under the item scam. Your Gp is considered an item.

People who say “doubling money” are trying to scam you.
Any trade that involves more then to trade seasons is a scam. If they insist on you giving them the money first, report them.
However it is not a scam if you add 1M coins, and they add 2M coins, and the trade you in one trade. That is an idiot giving away free money
