I need help when my own small business. How can you start?

I’m on my own business and do not start planning information, like how to run. I plan to open a pet store in my area and I need information on how to begin. Are there any books that you recommend? Any advice you could give on pricing, hours of the best locations, etc? I’ve never run a business, but I like challenges. There is only one other in the region. Does anyone have any information to obtain grants to start a business? What keeps you in business? ANY info would be very grateful.
I do not think your question can be answered. There is too much info, will be able to give. Best price I can give you is a class of small business in your local community college to take. According to tuition, the cost for the class to run about $ 300 and you do not make a good deal. This class should give you enough information about everything you mentioned yet.
