How do you get a Hazwoper certification?
Hi. I am graduating soon. I want to work in the environmental science field. Some of the jobs i am finding require a “40 hour hazwoper certification.” I would like to get this, as it seems like a selling point on a resume. I know it is reasonably expensive. In your opinion, Is it worth it?? How can i get one? I see online sites for it, but do these sites give you the certification? Is there a test? Which sites are the best? Are there classes that to attend in person? I REALLY appreciate any help! I am an environmental science student looking to bolster my resume. What else can i do?
Help please? Anyone?
The link helped alot, but i am still in question. I want a certification that is accepted across different agencies and corporations.. The nearest realtime training to me is a state away. I would like to know if online training (with webcam interactions) is accepted. Anyone know. Thanks for any help!

Here is the federal website on that topic. Perhaps your answer lies within.
Also, a great source would be your professors. They could elucidate you on this subject matter.
