The ones where they say that the government has billions of dollars they have to give away, you just have to create them for it. And they offer this book that has addresses that you publish to get government grants to pay out your bills. Is this factor Respectable? I would like to hear from Men and women WHO HAVE Tried IT.

Haven’t used it, but here’s some info:

Most of the grants he refers to are entitlement programs … and the average person cannot apply for them.

Most of the “hidden” $ 350 billion cited in the ads represents well-known public assistance programs like Medicaid and Medicare.

Lesko’s book also points people to private assistance agencies, encouraging them to apply for grants there, even though many of the agencies don’t give away money.

I hope you will not fall for one of the biggest scams on this planet (see my previous response to your similar question)

The Federal Trade Commission has already issued a warning to people about this scam: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt134.htm

“But the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation’s consumer protection agency, says that “money for nothing” grant offers usually are scams, whether you see them in your local paper or a national magazine, or hear about them on the phone.”

Sure, the government gives FREE GRANT money — but they are given based on purpose, not just to anyone who wants them. I suggest you check out these two Government websites on grants:

Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov = this is where you apply for grants for free

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance http://www.cfda.gov = this is where you will find the grant where you can qualify. Grants.gov will ask for the CFDA number of the grant you want to apply for
